5 available 30"x78" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Interior Wood Wooden Doors 2 Panels

Charming, antique doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, PA. The doors have solid Douglas fir cores covered in a 1/16" Douglas fir veneer. The doors have 2 recessed (flat) panels on both sides. (Except Door#5 which is painted on both sides), all doors are stained on both sides.

Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door.

Hardware: No door is equipped with any  hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit them (check  out our eBay store).

Uneven Height: The height of Door#5 was unevenly cut by 1/4". The cuts were most likely made to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation.  We could cut any door to make it shorter or narrower, or even build it up to  make it taller or wider--message us  for a quote.

Condition: Considering the doors are well at least 100 years old, they are  strong, sturdy  and in great structural condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no  broken/cracked joints or any other serious issues. The veneer naturally expands and contracts. Over time, especially if exposed to humidity (bathroom, basement, or kitchen doors), the veneer warps and forms bubbles. We can cut the bigger bubbles and glue them so they become flat--message us for a quote.

Otherwise, most of the blemishes that  they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be  subtle, "character marks".

Modification: Want  to use 2 of these doors to make a pair? We could  also modify the door(s) to fit your opening or suite your  needs. We could make  a frame(s), trim or add to the heights or  widths, replace panels with glass,  reverse the swings, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small  description of what you would like done, and we'll  give you a quote.
