7 available CLEANED Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed Russwin "Essex" Door Set Glass Knob Brass Plate Lock Lockset Interior Hardware

All brass parts are solid brass, not plated steel. The rosettes and knob bases are extra thick, heavy, cast brass.

We removed the locksets from some doors that we salvaged. The last 2 photos show 2 of the sets on the doors before we removed them. Most of the sets were painted, so we had to remove the paint in order to reveal the beautiful brass beneath. We did our best to remove only the paint and not the patina, but some of the patina did come off and the finish varies from part to part.

All parts are in great condition with only the typical small nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on old, used hardware. There are no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or deep scratches, etc. The glass knobs are firmed affixed to their bases (no jiggling or looseness).

Each lock was opened, inspected, and we sprayed grease on and around all parts to facilitate their movement. The inside of the lock is fairly clean considering its age (see close up photo).
