80"x60" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Picket Cast Iron Metal Gate Fence Fencing Panel Section

Cool, distressed, iron fence salvaged from Northeastern, PA.  It's made  of solid iron and weighs about 200 lbs.

The fence was originally painted a black color, but the majority  of the paint wore off. There are also many rust spots and pitting or, "hammered surface,"  which occurred naturally after years of exposure to the elements. Please keep in  mind, that this is only surface-level corrosion; just cosmetic.

At the point of salvage, the nuts and bolts holding the  section in place were to difficult to remove, so the plates where the bolts were  secured were cut off (see last 4 photos). The plates were just simple,  rectangular shaped pieces of iron with a hole in the middle. 3 more could easily  be fabricated and welded on.

Otherwise, the section is in excellent condition. No breaks,  bends, dents, cracks, rot, etc. This fence is strong, sturdy, and ready for  another lifetime of service.
