11.5" Antique Vintage Old Sargent Salvaged Reclaimed SOLID Nickel Cast Brass Curved Entry Exterior Door Handle Pull

Beautiful, antique, door handle made by "Sargent & Co." of New Haven, CT sometime during the first half of the previous century. The handle is a single, solid piece with thumb latch that swivels up and down.

In order to install, you need a bolt to secure the top and a screw for the bottom. The bolt needs to go through the door and the screw just fastens to the face of the door. A bolt and screw could be acquired from any large hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot.

The handle not only has a cool, Neo-Classical design, but is also embellished with a combination of worn nickel plating, tarnished nickel and brass, and spots of red and green paint that came from the door that we pulled it from. If you prefer your hardware bright and shiny, it could be cleaned to a brilliant shine with some "Brasso" and #00 grade steel wool.

The pull is in excellent condition with only a few nicks and scratches here and there. Otherwise, there are no breaks, cracks, dents, bends, or gouges. It's strong, sturdy, and ready to serve for a another lifetime.
