WOW, what a rare find! Cool, distressed, cast iron panels salvaged from Northeastern, PA. Each is made  of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron and weighs about 150 lbs.

Although each panel looks like a group of 24 rectangular strips  (fins or blades) held together by 3 round bars; each "bar" is actually 23 short,  tubular pieces held together by a nut on each end. The tubes are actually  separators or dividers between the strips. I'm assuming since they were put  together like this, that you could loosen 3 nuts on one side of a panel and all  of the strips and tubes could be removed--in case you're interested in  refinishing or doing some work to them prior to installation.

The panels were originally painted a black color, and much  of the paint remains. However, there are also many rusty spots. What really  makes these extra cool is the pitted or "hammered" surface, which occurred  naturally after years of exposure to the elements. Please keep in mind, that  this only surface-level corrosion; just cosmetic. Except for #11, these panels  are strong, sturdy, and show no signs of weakness.

Panels#5 & 6 had 2 adjacent strips trimmed by 3" - 4". Except  for Panel#6, each panel has one or two bent strips. The bends could be  straightened by pulling and/or banging with a hammer.

All are in great shape with no  breaks, cracks, or rot. All are strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime  of service.
 

Aside from whatever purpose they originally served, they would  make for great table tops, industrial wainscoting, dividers between 2 isles or  rows in a shop or restaurant, industrial art, movie, theater props, etc.
