Antique Old Reclaimed Salvaged Decorative Upcycled Welding Blow Torch Electric Lamp Polished Brass

For sale is a fascinating and unique electric lamp with industrial appeal made from shiny solid brass, cast iron, and copper welding blow torch.

Circa 1910-20’s. Handcrafted lamp was put together by a Math High School teacher who started his hobby in the late'70's. His goal was to create useful items out of reused and recycled materials. The welding blow torch lamp features a polished brass body with red painted wooden handle, a moving piston hand pump, cast iron holder, hard rubber valve, copper spay head (marked 55), Foster socket, and brass harp with finial.  Lamp is engaged by a rotary knob and takes a standard bulb max 60 Watt. Bulb and shade are not included. Good working condition. It has been used for a short period of time and stored away after that.

Overall measures approx.:  22 1/4” Tall (to the top of the finial) x 7” Width x 7” Depth.

Base: 5 ¾” D

Heavy and sturdy! Excellent vintage/antique conditions with insignificant sign of age and use. No cracks or breaks. 2 tiny dents, few minor small patina spots, and some paint wear on the handle. Please see pictures.
