Wow, what a rare find! Stunning, antique, rustic armoire salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. It's made of solid Cedar wood and has a large cabinet with 2 doors. Inside is a large space with a shelf at the top, and a clothing bar below.
Considering that the piece is well over 100 years, it is in great condition. Besides a small break on one of the doors (see last photo). the wardrobe has the typical nicks, scrapes, scratches, and spots of worn finish here and there that you would expect to find on a piece this old. However, there are no breaks, rot, warp, or any other serious flaws. All the drawers slide in and out with ease!
Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the piece and didn't need to make any serious repairs. The piece is strong and sturdy and is ready for another lifetime of service!
