Elegant, antique, hall tree salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. It's made of solid Walnut and is stained and finished.

The hall tree has a unique, Eastlake design with plenty of ornate carvings and details.

At the top, there is a small mirror with curved edges. Notice the beautiful, cast iron plates at the bottom!

The glass is new, and when it was replaced, the previous owner just secured the glass with strong duct tape and wood. Although it sounds like a crude way to secure the mirror, the glass is stuck in place and won't go anywhere unless you remove the backing.

Our carpenter inspected the piece from top to bottom, and didn't need to make any repairs. He didn't need to glue or reinforce anything as the hall tree is strong and sturdy.

Considering its age, the piece is in excellent condition with only the typical nicks and scratches that you would expect to find on old, used furniture. there is no damage. Otherwise, There are no breaks, gouges, rot, or warp.

The glass and silvering are completely intact with no scratches to the glass.

This hall tree is ready for another lifetime of service!
