Elegant, antique, hall tree salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. It's made of solid Walnut and is stained and finished. After inspecting and examining the piece, I believe it's from the 1880's-90's.

The hall tree has a unique, Eastlake design with numerous ornate carvings and details.

At the top, there is a rectangle-shaped mirror with curved edges. Notice the beautiful, cast iron plates at the bottom and the marble slab in the middle!

The glass is not original and was replaced in 1971 (stamp on the back).

The very top crown can be removed.

Considering its age, the piece is in excellent condition with only the typical nicks and scratches that you would expect to find on old, used furniture. The only breaks I could find are in the last photo. The worst break isn't even visible from the front, as it's on the back. Otherwise, There are no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, or warp.

The glass and silvering are completely intact with no scratches to the glass.

This hall tree is ready for another lifetime of service!
