Antique Vintage Old Windsor Style Victorian SOLID Walnut Wood Wooden Child Childrens Kids Rocking Chair Rocker

Elegant, antique, rocking chair salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's made of solid walnut and still retains it's original stain and finish.

It has a beautiful, Windsor style design with an arched backrest and 6 upright spindles. The spindles, as well as the legs and stretchers under the seat were all hand-turned.

Our carpenter inspected the chair from top to bottom, and didn't need to make any repairs, nor needed to reinforce anything. All of the joints are tight, and there is no looseness at any point.

Structurally, the chair is a in great shape; cosmetically, it does have nicks and scratches--especially on the seat (see close ups). There are no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. This chair is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service!

 Shipping

* UPS/FedEx have a "balloon rate" once a package goes over 130" (longest side +2(width) +2(depth)). With the current dimensions, we can't make it under 130" and still properly pad the chair to protect it in transit. We will have to remove the blades in order to make it. They are easy to put back on with a flathead screwdriver. Each blades has 2 screws.
