Unique, antique dresser salvaged from an old home in Clarks Summit, PA. The piece is made of walnut. I estimate the piece is over 100 years old. You can tell that the piece was refinished at some point recently (last 30 years) as it looks too clean to be a 100 year old finish. Now that doesn't mean that it's somehow of lesser quality. 

This cabinet was well maintained and is in near perfect condition. It has the typical nicks, scrapes, scratches, and small spots of worn finish here and there that you would expect to find on a used, piece of furniture. However, there are no large breaks or cracks, gouges or rot. There is a small break on the back end of the piece (see last photo). Keep in mind, since it's on the back end, it'll never be seen.

Besides the small break, the only other flaw is the boards on top of the two smaller drawers are very slightly bowed. (one is bowed downward, the other is bowed upward). Although it may sound like a big issue, It's hardly noticeable. You can still place items on these areas just fine without any issues.

This beautiful cabinet is strong, sturdy and is ready for another lifetime of service.
