Antique Vintage Old Victorian Eastlake Style Reclaimed Salvaged Solid Wood Wooden Marble Top Slab Dresser Server Chest of Drawers

Wow, what a rare find! Stunning, antique, marble top dresser salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. The dresser is made of solid wood. It has 3 drawers each with 2, ornately carved, wooden pulls. The former owner installed dividers in the top drawer (see 5th photo).


At the bottom of the dresser, there is a hidden drawer known as a "false bottom". However, the bottom of the drawer is split.

Notice the beautiful, solid wood casters at the bottom!

There are 2 circular holes on the back of the marble. I'm assuming this dresser may have had a mirror at some point. However, the holes are small.

Considering that the piece is well over 100 years, it is in great condition. Besides 2 small cracks, (one one the top of a drawer face, and one on the side of one of the feet [see last photo]) the dresser has the typical nicks, scrapes, scratches, and spots of worn finish here and there that you would expect to find on a piece this old. However, there are no breaks, rot, warp, or any other serious flaws. The marble is free of any large cracks or chips, and only has minor scratches.

Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the piece and didn't need to make any serious repairs. He did need to replace a rail (the part the drawer slides on). The chest is strong and sturdy and is ready for another lifetime of service!
