Lovely, Victorian upholstered chair salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. The frame is made of a solid hardwood (walnut or mahogany) and has a dark stained finish. It has a gorgeous light green Fabric seat and backrest.

The wooden frame has lots of elegant carvings and details, including at the top, which has a floral, carved design.

Besides slight discoloration along the edges, the only damage on the fabric is a very small burn mark on the back of the backrest (see last photo). The burn is so small that we had to zoom in with the camera just so you could see it.

Our carpenter inspected the chair from top to bottom, and didn't need to make any repairs or tighten anything as the chair is strong and sturdy.

Expect nicks and light scratches, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, or warp. This chair is ready for another lifetime of service.
