Up for sale is a magnificent antique turn-of-the-century American sideboard buffet, original to the Basic Furniture Co. of Basic City, Virginia (as identified by the original manufacturer paper tag attached to the back frame). Crafted from solid quartersawn tiger oak with bold ray grain patterning, this piece features a removable top mirror hutch with S-curve support columns, side shelf displays, and a central beveled glass mirror. The base unit is designed with a curved/splay-front silhouette containing two upper drawers, double cabinet doors with a central decorative pilaster, and a wide bottom drawer, all resting on shaped bracket feet.

The piece is structurally sound, solid, and fully functional, presenting a beautiful authentic antique patina. Specific condition details include:

• Top Surface Finish: The flat top surface shows clear age-related finish wear, ring marks, scuffs, and areas of finish loss consistent with historical use.
