COMPLETE! Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed Staircase Balusters Spindles Balustrade Handrail Rails Railing Newel Post Molding Panels

Beautiful, one-of-a-kind, antique staircase salvaged from a recently demolished, 1889 home in the Greenridge section of Scranton, PA (3rd to last photo). The set consists of 57 balusters/spindles, 4 handrails, 4 baserails, 4 skirts/aprons, and 1 large wall paneling (wainscot). All parts are made of solid oak.

The balusters/spindles and skirts/aprons are painted white, the posts and rails are stained, and the large panel is both stained and painted.

As you could see from the photos, the staircase spans one level and has 2 landings.

Each newel post has a round, pointed top and a lovely, acanthus leaf carving.

We personally removed the staircase--took about 6 hours--and since we did it slowly and carefully, it was removed with minimal damage (chips and minor cracks). The photo showing the spindle split in 3 was actually broken at some point, touched-up with white paint, and inserted back "as is" without any glue or anything to reinforce it. As soon as I grabbed to jiggle it, it fell apart. This could be properly repaired--email us for a quote.
