Pair 1"x2" Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed Solid Cast Brass Oval Door Key Hole Keyhole Covers Plates

Elegant, antique, keyhole cover plates made by, "Yale," of Stamford, CT sometime during the first quarter of the previous century. Each plate is made of solid, heavy, thick, cast brass, not stamped brass or plated steel.

The plate with the swinging cover is meant to install on the front side of a door. It keeps draft and debris from floating into the house or room.

Both plates are in superb condition with no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, gouges, or deep scratches. The swinging cover swivels easily. They held up for at least 100 years and they're ready for another lifetime of service.
