Pair 52"H Antique Vintage Old Salvaged Reclaimed Staircase Newel Post Balusters Spindles Balustrade Handrail Rails Railing Colonial Style

Handsome, vintage newel posts salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. They are made of solid pine or Douglas Fir, and are painted. They have elegantly turned (carved) shafts with a classic, Colonial style, ball finial at the top.


The posts are in excellent shape. They have the typical nicks, scrapes, scratches, and nail holes which should be expected from old, staircase parts. However, there are no serious breaks or cracks, rot, or wrap. Once sanded and cracks/holes are filled with putty, the posts will be ready to prime and paint.
