Pair of 23.5"x89.5"x2" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Wooden Interior French Entry Door Side Lite Window Wavy Glass

Beautiful, antique, French, Side lite doors salvaged from a 1910, newly renovated, $4 million home in Greenwich, CT (see last photos). They're made of solid Douglas Fir and are painted on both sides.

Both side lites have an impressive arrangement of 10, true-divided windows with original, wavy, glass.

Both side lites have a rabbeted (stepped) edge (see 3rd photo). However this is not an issue. We could cut off the edge on both of them to make them smooth and flat--message us for a quote.

There's a groove running the length of the hinge-stiles made originally for weather-stripping (see 4th photo). This doesn't affect the quality of the doors, and can be installed as is without the groove needing to be filled.

Since these are side-lites, they don't have any hardware holes (lock housings, flush bolt housings, etc), but they do have hinge mortises.

Hardware: Neither door/side lite is equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit them (check out our online store)

Condition: The doors are strong, sturdy and in great structural condition. They have the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, there are no serious breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp.

There are 2, cracked panes of glass (see 6th photo). We can replace the broken glass for FREE--message us if you're interested.

There are a few small breaks/cracks on the edges of the doors (see 7th photo).

Otherwise, the small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding.

Except the 2, broken panes, all of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches.

Modification: Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something  else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could trim or add to the height(s) or width(s), reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like  done, and we'll give you a quote.
