Unique, vintage, dining chairs salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. Each chair is made of solid maple and is stained and finished (unpainted). They have very unique backrests and elegantly turned (carved) legs and stretchers.

Our carpenter inspected both chairs from top to bottom, and didn't need to make any repairs. He didn't need to glue or reinforce anything as the chairs are strong and sturdy.

Considering their age, the chairs are in great condition with only the typical nicks and scratches that you would expect to find on old, used chairs. The finish does have a few spots of wear (mainly on the seats). Otherwise, There are no breaks, gouges, rot, or warp. The chairs are ready for another lifetime of service.
