Pair Vintage "Mersman" Mid Century Modern MCM Antique Old SOLID Maple Wood Wooden Formica French Accent End Table Nightstands Night Stand

Vintage, French style, end tables or nightstands salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. They were made by, "Mersman," of Celina, OH and are made of solid maple (no particle board or MDF). The rectangular center panels on top are Formica veneer. They have a marble-grain design.

Considering that the pieces are about 40 - 50 years old, they are in excellent structural condition. Our carpenter thoroughly inspected them and found no repairs to make nor any joints to reinforce.

Cosmetically, they have the typical nicks, scratches, and spots of worn finish here and there that you would expect to find on a pieces this old. There is also a corner on one of the center panels that is raised (see close-up photo). However, there are no breaks, rot, warp, or any other serious flaws. The Formica is also very clean considering it's age; no deep scratches, stains, or marks. The tables a are strong, sturdy, and are ready for another lifetime of service!
