Set 4 Vintage Old 5" Hard Rubber Steel "Bassick" Cart Casters Wheels Heavy Duty Roller Ball Bearing Salvaged Reclaimed

Heavy-duty set of 4 vintage casters made by, "Bassick," of Bridgeport, CT sometime during the 1960's or 70's. Their brackets are made of thick, galvanized steel and the wheels are hard rubber. Two of the casters have ball-bearing collars which allow the wheels to turn 360 degrees. These 2 casters also have locks which prevent the wheels from turning once engaged.

We found these while cleaning out a warehouse. They were in a box and pretty dirty. They are in such good condition that it's hard to tell if they were installed and used for a while or if they were never used at all.

These are very strong and new versions of these are able to support 330lbs per wheel. Considering that old hardware was built better than new hardware, these could probably support more, especially considering how thick these brackets are.

There are small nicks and scratches here and there, which are typical to find on pieces this old, however, there are no breaks, chips, dents, or gouges. All of the wheels rotate smoothly. These casters are ready for another lifetime of service.
