Small Vintage Antique Old Homemade Handmade Solid Pine Wood Wooden Table Foot Step Stool Plant Stand Side Accent Chair Seat Garden Bench

Lovely, vintage stool salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It's made of solid pine and has a medium stain color.

The former owner was also the builder and did a fine job! Not only did he use dowels to join all parts together (notice the darker colored circles where two parts meet) but he even added 2 steel, L-shaped brackets to secure the top to inner sides.

Although he built the stool really well, he's not the best artist. The hearts he cut-out in the sides look like a child did it. However, these sort of imperfections or quirks are what give handmade furniture a unique style and character--every piece is a one-of-a-kind!

Our carpenter inspected the piece from top to bottom and said that all of the joints are tight, and there are no weak spots what-so-ever. This stool is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service!

It could be used indoors and outdoors. It could be used as a stool for gardening, for your child to stand on to reach the sink or counter in the kitchen, or even as a plant stand.
