Vintage 1960s Glass Large Ships Decanter Wide Base Darington Style w/ Solid Glass Pale Amber Stopper Wine Beverage Bottle Barware

This sale is for an Art Deco, large, clear glass Captain’s ship decanter with stopper. The decanter has a narrow, everted rim, which sits on tapering neck. This widens out to merge with the low, broad shoulder. Body is cylindrical with a flat, wide thickened base. Looks just like a Dartington, but I can see no marks or a signature. Truncated cone shape stopper is solid glass with pale amber color. 

Measures approx.: 13” H (stopper included) x 9 ½” W. 
11 ½” H without stopper. Flat bottom is 9 ½” across.

Capacity: 104 oz.

Excellent vintage condition without chips or flaws of any kind. The absence of seams and a heavier weight often indicate that the decanter is a genuine piece. Occasionally air bubbles in the decanter and also in the stopper.
A modern, simple attractive way to serve whiskey, wine, water or any beverage.
