Up for sale is a set of 5 vintage solid wood Colonial/Captain's style dining chairs manufactured by Hale. The set includes 2 armchairs (captain's chairs) and 3 side chairs. Built with sturdy turnings, contoured wooden seats, and classic spindle backs.
Custom Quantity Option: Since a 5-piece set is an unusual configuration, we are happy to offer a discounted option if you prefer a standard set of 4 chairs (such as 2 armchairs and 2 side chairs, or 1 armchair and 3 side chairs). Please contact us prior to purchase for a custom listing quote.
Condition Report
In solid, sturdy condition overall with cosmetic finish wear that makes them great candidates for refinishing, touching up, or enjoying as-is with vintage patina:
- Finish Wear: Noticeable finish wear and clear coat loss on the wooden seats, concentrated primarily on the two armchairs. The side chairs exhibit lighter surface wear.
- Hardware / Dowel Cap: One chair is missing a small wooden dowel cap covering an assembly screw hole.
- Structure: All 5 chairs remain structurally sound, tight, and fully functional.
