Up for sale is a striking vintage mid-century mahogany bow-front server credenza. Featuring a bowed front silhouette with rich ribbon-grain mahogany veneer, a spacious dovetailed top drawer, and double cabinet doors opening to an interior with a removable wooden shelf, this versatile piece works wonderfully as a dining server, entryway credenza, or media console.
Condition Report
The cabinet is structurally solid and in good vintage condition overall. Specific age-appropriate cosmetic wear includes:
- Finish & Structure: Sturdy frame with smooth drawer operation and functional magnetic latches. Original warm mahogany finish exhibits minor surface scuffs, light scratches, and typical wear consistent with age—including some minor scratches on the top surface.
- Interior & Shelving: Interior features removable wooden shelves that easily slide out by hand for customized taller storage.
- Veneer & Back Panel: Minor veneer wear/chip along the bottom lip of the top drawer front. Back panel shows faint vintage chalk markings from original manufacturing/warehousing.
