Elegant, bent-wood serving table salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. The table is made of bamboo and the tops of the shelves and removable tray are made of rattan or seagrass with a hard, plywood under layer--100% wooden construction and quite heavy for it's size.

Aside from it's handsome, oval form, it's most notable feature is the removable tray top. If you like the design of the table but are not a fan of the tray top, you could simply use the table without the tray. The top of the table and tray are identical minus the handles of the tray. We included the measurements of the table with and without the top below.

The tray top nests in the top of the table with ease (no force required). Once set in place, the tray cannot be pushed off; only lifted.

The table has a shelf on the bottom which looks exactly like the top. It's surrounded by lovely, bent bamboo stretchers/rails which brace/connect the legs adding strength to the table's design.

Overall, the table is strong and sturdy. Cosmetically, it is also in great shape. The only flaw to mention is a small break in one of the bands of bamboo under the tray (see close up). We didn't notice this when we acquired the table. It wasn't until we were taking photos that we noticed it. We pointed this out to our carpenter and he will close the gap prior to shipping. In the end, there will be a crack or scar from the break, but since it's under the tray, no one will ever notice it. Other than that, only expect nicks and scratches--common wear for an old, used table.

The table's uncommon design will make it stand out in any room it's placed in, and it's excellent construction and condition will allow it to hold up for another lifetime or two.
