Vintage Antique Old Reclaimed Salvaged Colonial Traditional Style Wood Wooden Twin Size Bed Frame Head Foot Board Set

Lovely, vintage, Colonial style, twin-sized, bed set salvaged from an old home in Scranton, PA. The head & foot boards are made out of Pine. However, the boards and panels are veneered in a non-wood material (possibly MDF).

The bed set includes a headboard, footboard, 2 metal rails, and 3 wooden slats.

The head & foot boards have a beautiful design with ornate carvings and curves. Notice the finals on each post!

There is an extra set of slat holes on the headboard (see 2nd to last photo). I'm not sure why it has this, since the footboard only has 1 set of slat holes.

Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the pieces and found no repairs to make, nor anything to reinforce. the head and foot boards just have nicks, light scratches, common wear for old used furniture. The worst damage is a scratch on the top of the headboard and a worn portion of the veneer on the front. (See last photo). Otherwise, the set is strong, sturdy, and ready for a lifetime of service!
