Up for sale is a high-quality vintage Ethan Allen solid wood full-size bed set featuring a matching headboard and footboard made on March 2, 1980, this bed displays classic Early American Colonial styling with turned posts, ball finials, and an elegant shaped headboard crest panel.
Condition Report
This bed set is in excellent structural and aesthetic condition with minimal wear. Key observations include:
- Structure & Wood: Frame and joinery are tight, heavy, and solid throughout with no cracks or structural repairs.
- Finish Wear: Original warm wood finish remains glossy and clean across the panels and posts. The only notable cosmetic wear is slight finish rubbing/wear on top of the ball finials, as highlighted in the last photo.
- Markings: Original factory Ethan Allen brand stamp, model numbers, and 1980 date stamp are clear on the back rail.
