Gorgeous, marble-top table salvaged from Northeastern PA. The table is made of a combination of Wood, Metal, Marble and a small amount of Formica.

Although "Formica" may seem as a cheap, off-brand knockoff to wood, Formica is more resistant to scratches, stains, and moisture damage than wood, and is also lighter than regular wood.

The table has an octagonal shape. On the top sits a removable marble slab. The marble sits on felt to prevent sliding or shifting. Underneath the table top are 4, elegantly-shaped, metal legs. Underneath the tabletop is a small shelf. The top layer of the shelf is Formica, but underneath the layer is solid wood. At the very bottom are 4, metal feet. Overall, this table has gorgeous, Neo-Classical features all over.

Considering it's age, the table is in excellent condition. There are light scratches and small nicks, which you would expect to find on a table this old, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, cracks in the marble, or any serious flaws.

Our carpenter inspected the piece all around and found no repairs to make nor anything to reinforce. The table is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service.
