Lovely, vintage writing desk salvaged from a home in Taylor, PA. This piece is made of solid wood (mainly walnut and burled walnut). Notice the beautiful book matched design on the desktop!

The desk has a drawer in the center and 2 more behind a door on the bottom left of the front side. On the very right side of the desk, there are 2 shelves for extra storage!

There is some finish damage on the top (see last photo), light scratches, and small nicks here and there--typical wear for a used desk. However, there are no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp.

Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the piece and found no repairs to make nor anything to reinforce. All of the joints are strong, and the desk is sturdy and ready for another lifetime of service!
