Vintage Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jar Table Lamp Famille Verte Style Copper Brass Cut Out Base 3 Way Harp Finial

For sale is a beautiful Chinese Famille Verde style porcelain ginger jar converted as table lamp. The original ginger jar with lid has been fitted with electrical components, included a brass base and a light socket, to function as a table lamp. It is hand painted in intricate detailing with figures of officials and their horse, geishas and a tree. The colors in this ginger jar are particularly striking: the iron red, green, blue, and yellow contrast well with the white glaze. It is mounted on a copper and brass cut out design. Lamp has 3 Way switch and operates with a light bulb up to 60 watts (3-way E26 Medium Screw Base). Lampshade and bulb are not included. Good working condition.

Ornate round base is 6 ½” in diameter. 

Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks on the porcelain. Footed brass base has 3 small cracks in the cut-out design, but it does not affect the lamp's electrical function or performance. The base remains stable and supports the weight of the rest of the lamp. Please see last picture. Original patina on copper and brass.
