Vintage Chinoiserie Style Column Table Lamp Birds Flowers Daher Tin Solid Brass 3 Way Harp Finial 30” Tall

For sale is a beautiful Chinoiserie style Daher cylindrical container converted as table lamp. The original tin container with lid has been fitted with electrical components, included solid brass inserts, a base and a light socket, to function as a table lamp. The decoration on multi panels is vibrant, featuring exotic birds and flowering branches, a style commonly referred to as Chinoiserie or family Rose. There are teal, green, white, orange colors with gilt accent. Felt on the bottom. Harp and finial are included. Lamp has 3 Way switch and operates with a light bulb up to 75 watts (standard base). Lampshade and bulb are not included. Good working condition. It has a solid and sturdy construction. 

Daher Long Island" refers to the vintage, collectible decorative tins and metalware featuring vibrant designs, often floral or fruit, created by the Daher company, which was based in Long Island, NY, but had its items manufactured in England and Holland, famous for their beautiful, functional containers used for tea, candy, and decor from the 1950s onward.
