This listing is for a vintage clear glass hurricane lampshade/globe/chimney. It is a replacement glass globe designed to fit over #2 burners on oil, kerosene, or student-style lamps. The globe is known as a “mushroom” or” ball” chimney due to its wide, rounded body and flare top. It acts as both a chimney and a shade. NOS.
Measures approx.: 
*Height: 7 inches. 
*Width: 7 inches (bulge). 
*Bottom/fitter (outer base diameter): 3 inches. Shade takes 3 1/4" fitter. Before place order, please check the measurement of you lamp for fitter size. The fitter is the outer diameter of the lip which is inserted into the fixture shade holder.
