This listing is for a vintage Mid-20-th Century Victorian revival ceramic porcelain urn-shaped tall table lamp. It features a deep green color body, ornate gold-plated scroll handles and a central transfer medallion of a colonial courting couple. Ceramic base is glossy green with scroll details. Felt underneath. Lamp comes with heavy duty brass plated metal harp with fixed height with sturdy saddle attachment. Finial is a decorative brass knob at very top of the harp. Lamp comes with electrical cord paired with hard plastic plug. Lamp operates with a 3-way rotary switch, Leviton socket lamp holder and takes a 3-way, medium base E26 light bulb. Good working conditions.  Bulb and lampshade are not included.

These types of lamps are often nicknamed "George and Martha Washington” in American household due to colonial-style clothing, but central medallion actually depicts a romantic Victorian or French-style “courting couple. This artwork is heavily inspired by the classical artwork of Jean-Honore Fragonard.

Overall lamp measures: 29” H x 7” W. Base: 6” x 6”.
 Weight: 6.3 lbs.

Lamp is in excellent conditions. No scratches, chips, or breaks. Very light rubbed off gold paint on the handles. Patina on brass parts. Please see pictures.
