Vintage Occupied Japan Hand Painted Glazed Porcelain Vanity Table Lamp w/Silk Lampshade Courting Couple Figurine Made in Japan

Foe sale is a vintage hand-painted glazed porcelain lamp featuring a “courting couple” or “Colonial couple” figurine. Marked on the bottom: “Hand Painted Made in Occupied Japan”. This is from post WWII 1945-1952 eras. Lamp operates with a Foster brand lamp holder socket with push-thru switch. Electric cord, plug and Foster socket are original to the lamps and they are not damaged. Good working condition. Lamp comes with a silk fabric lampshade and 13-Watt CFL Light Bulb with standard 26 base. 

Overall size: 14 “H (Lampshade included) x 6” W. 
Lamp itself: 10 ¼” H (without lampshade) from base to top of the socket x 4 ¼” W. 

Lamp is in great, unaltered pre-owed condition. There are 2 minor cracks in the base, from the manufacturing process. They are not visible from front, and they don’t affect the functionality of the lamp.  Please see last picture.
