Gorgeous, oval table salvaged from Northeastern PA. The table is made of a combination of Formica and Mahogany wood.

Although "Formica" may seem as a cheap, off-brand knockoff to wood, Formica is more resistant to scratches, stains, and moisture damage than wood, and is also lighter than regular wood.

The top is oval-shaped and tapered and there is a same-shaped shelf below.. Both tiers are connected together by 4, beautifully-turned legs.

Considering it's age, the table is in great condition. There are light scratches and small nicks, which you would expect to find on a table this old, but no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, warp, or any serious flaws. The worst damage we could find was a small crack in one of the legs (see last photo). However, it poses no threat to the structural integrity of the piece.

Our carpenter inspected the piece all around and found no repairs to make nor anything to reinforce. The table is strong, sturdy, and ready for another lifetime of service.
