Vintage Pair Candlestick Holders French Baroque Rococo Style Brass Gold Finish Stylized Dolphins Column Leaf Base

This listing is for a Mid Century, stunning pair of brass candlestick holders in a Neo Classical/Baroque style. Each features a column of a stylized dolphin, sitting on a leaf-shaped base and a floral petal–designed wax catcher (bobeche), at the top. They are constructed from high-quality heavy brass and patinated bronze, with two tones finish: painted black the creature (dolphin) and base and top are gold-toned (gilt). Fit standard sized candlesticks. Candles are not included.

Top opening: 1 ¾” D. 

Excellent vintage condition with light patina and some spots of verdigris. No chips or cracks. No waxy residue in candle cups.
